Carol Lake is an established freelance textile designer with over 25 years experience.

During this time she has built a strong signature style and worked consistently with mid to high-end textile and paper companies worldwide. Her client list includes some of the top names in the design world such as Scalamandre, Nina Campbell, Lulu Guinness and IHR and her work has been featured on the TV series 'Friends' and 'Sex and the City'. Her designs have been printed on to a wide variety of products including furnishing fabrics, wallpaper, bed linen, table linen, household accessories, paper napkins and clothes. Carol's clients say her work is classic but fresh with a modern twist and that her prints make their products look high-end.They have often become best sellers in their ranges. Carol studied Fashion Textiles at Brighton then begun her career with Calver Pound Studios in London. She was also one of the founding members of the highly regarded and successful co-operative 'Artisan'
